I've just come back from a long day visiting a Power Station, about an hour's drive from Dammam.  As we drove along I caught my first glimpse of the Gulf waters.  Hello to colleagues in the Wintec Centre for Languages, who are starting the new week!

    You may be quite close to our NZ friends - Jon Foxon's daughter Fleur, married a NZer working at the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (Stephen Binns). She has to wear traditional gear when out of the compound they live in.

      Have had an email from Fleur after telling her you were in her neck of the woods. She describes you as being an easy taxi ride away and is more than happy for you to call on them/contact them-of course you may have all your time taken up with work. She is Fleur Binns, with home phone number 03 8606074 and mobile 0559926526. She would be quite pleased to talk to NZ ers and as Stephen, a professor (maths) at the Uni has been there for several years, knows it well and may be helpful, who knows!!?? The offer is there if you feel like a change from work related things. Hope all going well.
